Hey fans of natural landscapes, as 2020 draws to a close we are once again in a position to award the best of the subreddit with free stuff.According to the Admins we are eligible for 45,000 coins because the community is larger than 1m members. Huzzah! This means we have 25 mod awards to give out (each worth 1800 coins.) So for this year we have 6 categories and the top choice of each will win 2 mod awards, and the two runners up will win 1 mod award.Each year we rack our brains to come up with interesting ideas for categories and this year is no different. As a nod to our resolution requirement, we are doing image orientation as the theme. So without further adieu, please review the categories below and submit your favourites to be voted on by the group.Best Landscape Landscape:This is any image submitted to EarthPorn in the calendar year of 2020 which features pixel dimensions which are greater in the #horizontal than the #vertical. Landscape Orientation.Best Portrait Landscape:Portrait landscapes were more popular than ever on EarthPorn this year, or maybe I was just paying closer attention? Anyway these are obviously photos where the #vertical exceeds the #horizontal dimensions. Portrait Orientation.Best Insta-Square Landscape:IG is obviously huge and many submitters to EarthPorn stick with their unique square format. 1080x1080 or larger.Best Huge Ultra Wide Landscape:These shots feature horizontal dimensions in excess of 10k pixels. These rarely make it to the front page because they are massive, but big can be beautiful so find one you like!Best Telephoto Landscape:Its very common and perhaps a touch cliche to do the 16mm shot with something in the foreground framing the background. /r/telephotolandscapes refutes this trend and we are honouring them with this award.Best Drone/Aerial Landscape:Only legal shots please, we assume every drone photographer who posts here is willing to provide evidence that they took their images legally and in compliance with drone laws.Remember the submissions must be from the calendar year of 2020!
