Hawaii's Big Island has one of the most diverse climates in the world. 1/3 dense rainforest, 1/3 desert, and 1/3 volcanic rock, and the top of the Mauna Kea volcano is often covered in snow. Here is a picture of the Kohala desert with a rainstorm in the background. [OC] [5184x3456]
